President Donald Trump didn’t hold back when asked about Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, during a recent Newsmax interview.
In classic Trump fashion, he mixed admiration with humor and high praise and called Leavitt not only a rising star in politics, but “possibly the greatest press secretary any president has had.”
“She’s Become a Star”
“She’s become a star,” Trump said, smiling. “It’s that face. It’s that brain. It’s those lips. The way they move. They move like she’s a machine gun.”
When host Rob Finnerty pointed out that Leavitt was in the room during the live segment, Trump grinned and doubled down on his praise:
“She’s a star. And she’s great. She’s a great person actually,” he added. “I don’t think anybody has ever had a better press secretary than Karoline. She’s been amazing.”
The Youngest-Ever Press Secretary
At just 27 years old, Leavitt made history as the youngest-ever White House Press Secretary. A New Hampshire native and former House GOP staffer, she rose quickly through the ranks, joining the Trump 2024 campaign as national press secretary before officially stepping into the West Wing role earlier this year.
A Signature Trump Compliment
Trump’s remarks reflect his signature style: blunt, bold, and often laced with colorful praise.
Leavitt’s fast-paced style and sharp exchanges with the press have drawn comparisons to Trump-era favorites like Kayleigh McEnany and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, both of whom earned Trump’s public admiration.
But based on his latest comments? Leavitt may now sit at the very top.
A Rising Voice in the MAGA Movement
Leavitt’s role comes at a crucial time as the Trump campaign gains steam ahead of the 2026 midterms and eyes a possible second term. Her communication style, confident, direct, and fearless, has made her a favorite among the conservative base.
And judging by Trump’s praise, she’s not just performing, she’s commanding the room.
“Nobody has ever had a better press secretary,” Trump said simply.
