The story centers on Megan (Analeigh Tipton), a twenty-something recently dumped and drifting through post-college life in New York. In a moment of frustration and boredom, she signs up for an online dating site and arranges a casual hookup with Alec (Miles Teller). What should’ve been a one-night stand turns into something far less forgettable when a snowstorm traps them together in his cramped apartment the next morning.
What follows is part comedy of errors, part intimate character study. The two strangers, who barely know each other, are forced into uncomfortable proximity, leading to arguments, confessions, unexpected vulnerability—and a growing connection. While the premise leans into the rom-com formula, the execution feels grounded, thanks largely to the chemistry between Tipton and Teller.
