Save Me is a gritty 90s thriller that delves into the underworld of sex trafficking, obsession, and redemption. The story follows Jim Stevens (Harry Hamlin), a former cop haunted by his past, who becomes entangled in the dangerous life of Ellie (Lysette Anthony), a beautiful but troubled woman trapped in a violent prostitution ring controlled by the ruthless crime boss John Kreese (Michael Ironside).

As Jim tries to rescue Ellie from the clutches of this exploitative network, the line between savior and victim blurs. Driven by guilt and unresolved trauma, Jim spirals into a world of corruption, deception, and desperate choices. Lysette Anthony brings a sense of fragility and defiance to her role, while Ironside delivers his trademark intensity as a menacing antagonist.

While not widely recognized upon release, Save Me developed a small cult following for its raw atmosphere and emotionally charged performances. The film balances moments of vulnerability with gritty noir undertones, exploring how far one man will go for redemption, and how far a woman must go to survive.

Though rough around the edges and limited by its low budget, Save Me remains a tense, emotionally dark thriller with a pulpy edge and a tragic heart.
