Stephen Graham’s “twisted” British thriller gets an exciting update

Good Boy, the upcoming thriller starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough, has received an exciting update.
The British film follows Tommy (Anson Boon), a 19-year old gang leader who takes pleasure in having his friends commit violent acts. Tommy’s world is turned upside down after is kidnapped by Chris (Graham).
After finding himself locked in a basement, Chris and his wife Kathryn (Riseborough) force Tommy into a bizarre dynamic where he has to reckon with his criminal life and become a ‘good boy’ to atone for his sins
Directed by Jan Komasa from a screenplay by Bartek Bartosik and Naqqash Khalid, Good Boy is due to premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), which will take place between 4 and 14 September.
The premiere date hasn’t been confirmed exactly, though programming for the entire festival is set to be announced on 12 August, meaning it won’t be long before the “twisted” tale of “freedom and identity” gets another update.
